太山村位于南安市西北部朝天山下，是南安市的一个革命老区基点村。村名的来历是村中几条大道与一个村落组成的形状似“太”字。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

太山村为革命老区基点村，革命战争时期出了三名烈士，烈士家属与村中群众为革命事业出力。[2]

民国时期这里是太山保，新中国成立后称太山乡；公社化后设太山大队，1984年改设太山村委会。[2]

福建省爱国卫生运动委员会于2022年12月授予太山村「2022年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村庄位于朝天山下，距南安市城区38公里，距乡政府11公里；全村面积约3.1平方千米，辖5个自然村，有12个村民小组。[1][2]

文化[edit]

村中有龙水岩，兴建于明初，岩中供奉如来佛和观音。[2]

经济[edit]

农业是村里的主业，水稻、地瓜、花生都有种植；山林里出产柿子、龙眼和茶叶。[2]
