名称由来[edit]
先祖原居风山谷，后迁至郭厝（今已废弃）的前方建村，村名取「郭」字与「前」字合成。[1][2]
历史沿革[edit]
民国年间村子属延平乡杏前保；新中国成立后划入和平乡，称郭前村。1958年公社化后设郭前大队，1984年改设郭前村民委员会。[3]
文物古迹[edit]
石井邦伯坊为明代古建筑，杨子山清水岩为宋代古遗址，二者都是市级文物保护单位。[4]
