大洋村位于洪濑镇东北，辖12个自然村，三面环山。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村名取自境内的大阳山，后写作“大洋”，博雅地名网另有一处写作“大洋山”。[1][2]

1951年土改时取名大洋。1955年至1956年划分为大洋大队；到1984年才称洪濑镇大洋村民委员会。[1]

据博雅地名网，本村属革命老区，曾是地下党的红色交通线。[2]

文化[edit]

2024年1月，本村获「2023年福建省卫生村」命名。2022年10月，本村列入「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」，由福建省农业农村厅认定。[1]
