坝田村位于洪濑镇政府驻地东约2.2公里，村委会设在土炉，东侧与镇区接壤。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村地势较高，旧时依地势在一条从沙母岭流下的小溪上修筑多道水坝蓄水灌田，故取名坝田。[1]
原属南安五都；民国时期设坝田保，解放后改称坝头乡。1958年成为坝田大队，此后到1984年转为洪濑镇坝田村民委员会。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
村中的宫庙包括夫人宫、飞凤庙（又称花脚宫）与沟龙庙，山寨则有玉枕寨、高山寨。位于两牛山东侧的六世墓又称黑墓，据博雅地名网是明末黄氏迁入坝田后最早的六世公墓。[2]
花脚厝与下新厝交界处有一座土楼，建造年代尚无法考证。[2]
