历史沿革[edit]
民国时期，这里分为田中、田南、田北三个保。1949年后归罗东乡管辖，1958年划入梅山火箭公社；1962年设罗东公社，1965年原先的几个大队合并为一个大队[1]。
1984年，这里改属罗东乡，村名为罗东村；1988年建镇后，它成为罗东镇的罗东村，并设立村民委员会[1]。
名胜古迹[edit]
罗东长兴厝属近现代重要史迹及代表性建筑，是第四次全国文物普查登记的不可移动文物[2]。
村中另有一处民国时期的民居，未定级，原列入历史建筑保护名录；2025年11月，南安市人民政府将它与同批另外18处建筑一同移出该名录，改按文物保护的规定管理[3]。
