罗东镇是福建省泉州市南安市下辖的镇，在南安市东北角，北面与乐峰镇交界，东面为洪梅镇，南面与梅山镇、洪濑镇相邻，西面是九都镇和金淘镇，距南安市区34千米[1]。镇名的由来是这里位于罗溪以东[1][4]。全镇面积64平方千米，设银河新城、新雨亭两个社区，另有12个行政村[1][2]。

镇内的古遗址和古建筑分布在多个行政村，其中荆坑瓷窑址、白扩山瓷窑址和雷海青墓等列入泉州市的文物保护单位名录，罗东长兴厝、罗溪信记厝则是由第四次全国文物普查登记的不可移动文物[6][7][8]。

历史沿革[edit]

罗东一带始开发于晋代，唐代设有罗溪与埔头心两个乡社[5]。宋代隶属德教乡；元明清三代，此地先后归十七都、十八都，一部分则属六都与七都[4][5]。民国时期，这里另设乐峰乡和罗溪镇，解放后划入第七区[5]。

罗东在1958年划入梅山火箭人民公社，至1965年才单设为罗东人民公社；1984年又改称罗东乡，1988年撤乡建镇[4][5]。1999年7月，乐峰镇从罗东镇分出，两镇各自成立[3][5]。

地理环境[edit]

罗东镇属内陆盆地，境内多丘陵，最高峰海拔704米，气候温和，四季常青[5]。年平均气温20.2摄氏度，年平均降雨量1400毫米，无霜期350天[5]。

罗溪是境内主要溪流，发源于卧龙，经梅山后注入晋江东溪，沿溪建有水力发电站，并有多座桥梁跨越溪流[5]。

人口民族[edit]

据《2024年南安统计年鉴》，2023年罗东镇公安户籍人口为59220人，其中城镇人口35110人，乡村人口24110人，公安户籍户数为17587户[2]。镇内居民以汉族为主[5]。

经济[edit]

镇内山地与耕地并存，主要种植水稻、小麦和甘薯，果木以龙眼、柑桔为主，还产芒果、红龙果等农副产品[5]。境内的梅乐、梅九两条公路构成南北向的主干道，全镇铺设的水泥路有60多公里[5]。

名胜古迹[edit]

荆坑瓷窑址位于荆坑村，属宋代古遗址；白扩山瓷窑址位于高塘村，同为宋代古遗址；雷海青墓位于振兴村，为唐代古墓葬[6][7]。

罗溪永济宝塔位于罗溪村，为明代古建筑，黄氏家庙位于埔心村，为清代古建筑[6][7]。罗东长兴厝属近现代重要史迹及代表性建筑，位于罗东村；罗溪信记厝为清代古建筑，位于罗溪村，两处都由第四次全国文物普查登记为不可移动文物[8]。

罗东村有一处民国时期建筑，原列入历史建筑保护名录，2025年11月因被登记为未定级不可移动文物而退出该名录，改按文物保护的规定管理[9]。

文化[edit]

2011年4月，罗东镇获环境保护部授予「2011年度国家级生态乡镇」称号[4]。2021年2月，罗东镇列入「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单[4]。2022年12月，福建省爱卫会授予罗东镇「2022年福建省卫生乡镇」称号[4]。
