水阁村位于金淘镇西北，村名取其山水相映、颇有诗意之意，雅称水阁。村中的内坑自然村是革命老区基点村。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时为会心保，新中国成立后归莲坑乡。1959年，它与石林合设会林大队；后独立出来，设水阁大队，1984年改为水阁村委会。[1][2]

地理环境[edit]

村子在南安市的西北部，离金淘镇政府约5公里远，西侧与诗山镇相连。省道307线穿村腹地约1.7公里。[2]

人口民族[edit]

全村有11个村民小组，743户3043人。[2]

文化[edit]

内坑自然村是革命老区基点村，欧阳占与欧阳世彬等人为革命献身。通往叶飞将军故居的村道，也是宣传红色思想的要道。[2]

经济[edit]

村中耕地以水稻、地瓜为主，蘑菇种植为特色农业。[2]
