梅庄村隶属翔云镇，位于镇政府驻地北面约2公里处，村委会设在梅庄，海拔540米。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

梅庄原属二十八都，民国年间属东梅保。1958年公社化时定名东星大队，1981年元月因与别地重复名称，改称梅庄大队。1984年设翔云乡梅庄村委会，1991年12月改为翔云镇梅庄村委会。[1][2]

地理环境[edit]

村子东面接壤头村，西面与安溪县龙门镇毗邻，南面是东山村，北面连着黄田村。境内有大尖山，海拔850多米。[1]

村民585户、3034人，全村辖11个自然村。耕地1213亩，山地4108亩；村民小组同为11个。[1]

经济与设施[edit]

主种水稻与甘薯，林果有棕榈和茶叶。村中有小学1所与卫生所，村路连接翔云与仑英公路。[1]
