石山村位于英都镇西南部，因石坑、山尾后两地各取首字而得名，是英都镇辖下的行政村。[2][5]村中的石泉院始建于宋初，是英都古代八院中仅存的一座禅院。[2][4]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年解放后，取石坑与山尾后两地的首字，设立石山乡。此后1958年成为石山大队，1984年才换作石山村委会。[2][5]

石泉院[edit]

据百度百科，石泉院始建于宋初开宝年间（968年至976年）。它在1676年被焚毁，此后由武生洪宝基主持重建；1958年废圯，2002年复建，建有檀越祠、寿星楼等建筑。[4]

博雅地名网说石泉院位于将军山脉鹧鸪寨下，百度百科则称在天马山东麓，两说的位置不同。[2][4]每年中秋，村中宴请本村七十岁以上老人的旧俗得以延续，南安市于2020年将其列入非物质文化遗产。[2][4]

村民外出经商是增加收入的主要途径。[2]石山村属省定革命老区基点村。[3]2024年1月，它名列2023年度南安市「和谐村（社区）」名单。[1]
