彭溪村位于东田镇政府驻地东南约6.2公里处，聚落在后桥水库顶部，彭溪上游的东南岸河谷间。[1][2]村名取自境内一条名为鹏溪的溪流，因方言读音相近而写作彭溪。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

解放初称彭溪村，1958年公社化后为彭溪大队，1984年归东田乡，1991年改为东田镇彭溪村委会。[1]

物产[edit]

村中山地以马尾松为主，果树有龙眼、红柿和杨梅，土特产有大蒜头。[2]
