海滨社区是晋江市西滨镇镇中心区的一个社区，由西滨农场于1998年改制而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

社区一带属晋东平原。1956年在此建场，1998年由「国营福建省晋江市西滨农场」改制为社区。[1]

社区名称来自所在道路：因地处海滨之路而得名。[1]

2006年，社区获晋江市计生局授予「一流村居计生协会」；2007年，获晋江市环保局授予「晋江市绿色社区」；2008年，获晋江市计生局和晋江市综治办分别授予「一流村居计生协会」和「平安家庭示范区」；2006至2008年度，获泉州市委、市政府评为「文明村（居）」。[1]

2021年2月，社区入选「福建省2018—2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单；同年6月，被命名为「2020年度晋江市平安村（社区）」。[1]
