后头村位于英林镇中部，在镇政府驻地南面约3.5公里处，英伍路与英三路在村中交叉。村北与玉坂村相连，南与谢厝街村及港塔村毗连。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明、清属十一都，1944年（民国33年）属金井镇钢垵保。此后隶属金井区、金井公社，1961年成为英林公社的后头大队；1984年起称英林镇后头村委会。1994年，本村另立村委会，自成一个行政单位，归英林镇政府辖区。[2][1]
经济[edit]
村中以服装制造和加工为主，农业以甘薯、花生和蔬菜为主。[2]
