内厝村在永和镇南端一带，离镇区约6公里，东边是英林镇，北边与龙湖镇相邻[1]。
地理与人口[edit]
村内有内厝、羊角山、石楼、瑞安四个自然村，以内厝自然村为主村，共8个村民小组，761户[1]。2021年村情汇总表记载，村内女性1432人、男性1500人，合计总人口2932人；常住人口同为2932人，60岁及以上510人[1]。外出流动人口410人，约占7.1%，多从事经商，行业以石材和布业为主[1]。
村名与历史[edit]
据博雅地名网，村子在元代属晋江县十二都。村名来自古时最有名的一处石楼居宅，当地人也把这类宅院叫作厝；又因地处羊角山之内，故称内厝[2]。
