曾厝村位于龙湖镇最南端，离镇政府约6公里，南面以钞井溪与英林镇相隔，是一个小村。[1][2][3]

村名来自最早在此开基的曾氏，“厝”是闽南方言中的房屋之意。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

宋代属安仁乡劝善里，明清属十四都，1944年属英林镇上杭保。[2]

1956年划入龙湖乡，1961年归龙湖公社管辖，1985年另设曾厝村委会，1991年改隶龙湖镇。[2]

龙湖镇政府2021年公布的行政村信息载，村里有1个自然村，常住1047人。[1]
