桥南社区是池店镇下辖的社区，位于镇域北部，居民多为原拆迁安置的住户。[2]社区的组建是池店镇推进村改社区的一部分，据镇概况称，它是晋江最大的新型社区。[1]

2017年9月，晋江市政府核准设立桥南社区居委会，核准日期为当月15日。[3]

社区概况[edit]

社区下辖16个小区，东面以泉安路为界，南面为池峰路，西面紧靠南低干渠，北面接迎宾大道，人口超过6万人。[1][2]2022年12月，授予方为福建省爱国卫生运动委员会，桥南社区因此获得「2022年福建省卫生社区」的命名。[3]
