玉山村位于金井镇北部，在308线西侧，距金井镇区约4公里，村域内有顶柯坑、石亭、草湖、双柄四个自然村[1][2]。

历史沿革[edit]

民国时期，村址所在地由几个自然村合并而成，取名玉山。1956年改属金井区英林乡。1961年调整时，原区域划出四个村，留下的石亭、双柄、草湖、顶柯坑四个村落，合为金井公社玉山大队，1984年起改称金井镇玉山村委会[1]。

明清时属十四都，民国时期属英林高山保[1]。

截至2010年，全村有3369人、986户。村中有洪、赵两个姓氏[1]。

村中有双山小学和培才小学，小学内附设幼儿园[2]。
