坑边村位于深沪镇东南部，东邻东山村，南接柳山村，北邻狮峰社区，村内分路东、路后、颜厝、畲下四个自然村。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

村名来源于一处古人类居住过的窑坑：相传晋人入闽开发时，村边已有此窑坑，村名由此而来。村地靠近东京大路，一度叫京滨。1952年自三山乡划出设大队，1984年撤大队建村。[1]

1996年，村被定为老区革命基点村。[2]

地理环境[edit]

村内陆地面积约1800亩，人口约1600人。[1]

文化[edit]

村中古圣庙即「京滨古圣庙」，位于颜厝自然村，主祀由泉州涂门街关岳庙分灵而来的关圣夫子。该庙始建于明代。[1][2]

村内有庵山沙丘遗址，时代为商至周。据晋江市政府网站，该遗址在东南沿海同期遗址中规模居首，保存也最为完好。2013年，它被公布为第七批全国重点文物保护单位。[2][4][5]

2007年和2009年，福建博物院与晋江市博物馆两次联合发掘，出土石器、陶器、玉器和青铜器等。[3]
