历史沿革[edit]
村名「上厝」一说出自闽南语，意为上边角落的住屋，又雅称「樟厝」[2]。明清两代归五都。1961年隶磁灶公社宅内大队；1980年独立为生产大队；1984年改设上厝村公所，1987年才有村委会[2]。
地理环境[edit]
村子位于鹰仔兔山南麓的丘陵地带，平地居多，东南高而西北低。村辖上厝、后洋两个自然村[2][3]。319县道连接青阳至内坑公路，北距泉厦高速晋江市入口与308省道约13.9公里[2]。
人口民族[edit]
村中以张姓为主[3]。
文化[edit]
上厝自然村的宫庙供奉南安灵应寺的李公祖师，香期在农历六月二十二；后洋自然村供奉保生大帝，香期在三月十五[3]。
