地名由来[edit]
社区以驻地自然村许厝命名。许姓最早在此建居，故得名许厝。[1][2]
历史沿革[edit]
宋代属永宁乡永福里，明清时期属二十八都。1956年属池店区融村乡，1961年划入青阳公社。1985年自原村委会析出，单独设立许厝村委会。[1]
2003年11月，青阳镇撤销，许厝划归梅岭街道；2004年，许厝社区居委会成立。[1][2]
荣誉[edit]
1984年，许厝获福建省人民政府和福州军区授予「先进基层党组织」称号。[2]
2021年6月，社区获评「2020年度晋江市平安村（社区）」（五星级）；2021年11月，被福建省爱卫办命名为「福建省卫生社区」。[1]
