梅岭街道隶属福建省泉州市晋江市，处在晋江市的北部：东侧邻陈埭镇，北侧是池店镇，西侧与西园街道相连，南侧与青阳街道相接。[1][2]街道辖区面积约11平方千米，下辖15个社区。[1][2][3]2024年末户籍人口为82219人。[4]街道名称得自地处青梅山与岭山交界的地理位置。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

梅岭街道设立前，今辖区分属青阳镇和陈埭镇。以2003年11月28日为界，原青阳镇分出青阳、梅岭、西园三处街道；梅岭街道由青阳镇的梅山居委会及七个村，连同陈埭镇的三个村组成。[1][2]

2004年12月，梅青等11个村（居）委会撤销，改为同样数量的社区居委会。2005年增设竹园、梅园两个社区；2013年11月撤销梅园社区，分设碧山、晋阳两个社区。[2]

2021年2月，梅岭街道上榜「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单。[2]
