龙华社区位于石狮市区，是凤里街道下辖的社区。从四面看，北接宽仁，南连华南，西对塔前，东侧则是新华。[1]

社区原为新华的农业辖区，因新华舞龙队有名，故取名龙华。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

此前为石狮镇新华保一带的农业地，1949年后归晋江县第十三区，1988年改属石狮镇，1990年划入石狮街道办事处。[1]

1993年，原新华村委会析分，龙华即为其中之一。[1][2]

地理环境[edit]

轻机路为南北走向，南起九二路，北至新华路，因沿线建有晋江轻工机械厂而得名。[1]

福全街位于新华与龙华分界处，东北端接新华路，西南端连九二路。相传明末清初由富商蔡福全独资兴建，故名福全街。[1]

姜商田位于镇中路西侧，原为新华的一角，因姜、商、田三姓聚居而得名。[1]
