上洋村地处国宝乡北部，周边是佛岭、南斗两村，并与赤水镇戴云村接壤。村名的来历与明代的迁居有关：明洪武二十四年（1391年），有人迁来此地定居，因而取名上洋，又称钱洋。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明代归德化县新华里的上洋保；清代则隶属集贤乡的新化里。1961年由此分出上洋大队，并转隶佛岭公社；1984年称国宝乡上洋村委会。[1]

文化[edit]

2020年12月，本村被认定为「2020年泉州市中级版绿盈乡村」。[1]
