水门村位于福建省泉州市德化县葛坑镇西北边陲，北与尤溪县坂面乡肖坂村接壤，距镇政府约5公里。[1]
地名由来[edit]
村中溪流从水门坑经章功流至溪柄，再流向尤溪县肖坂，构成环状水系，形如一道水门，村名由此而来。[1]
自然环境[edit]
村中群山起伏，溪涧较深，海拔750米。土壤多为粗骨性黄壤，年平均温度18℃，年降雨量1600毫米。[1][2]
历史沿革[edit]
宋明两代，此地属常平乡杨梅中团；清代归梅中里。1955年设立水门乡，1958年改属葛坑公社的水门大队，1984年称水门村，设水门村委会；2000年随乡改镇，称葛坑镇水门村。[2]
人口与村域[edit]
1999年末，全村共275户，人口1194人，男607人，女587人，均为汉族。全村有16个自然村，设12个村民小组。[1]
