苏坑镇是福建省泉州市永春县下辖的镇，位于县境中北部，北邻德化县，东接吾峰镇，南连蓬壶镇，西与呈祥乡相望。全镇辖7个行政村[4]，2000年7月由苏坑乡撤乡建镇。镇内以瓷茶产业为主导，苏坑是县内佛手茶的主产区之一。[1][2][5][8]

地名与历史沿革[edit]

镇名的来历，据博雅地名网所载，是早年苏姓人家迁来开基，境内沟坑纵横，地名由此而来。[1]

宋至清代，此地属民康乡常安里的二十二都。1942年划归苏坑乡，1945年改属常安乡。1949年后先后划入第二区和第三区，1952年属第四区，1956年隶属蓬壶区，当时的苏坑乡辖区还包括今天呈祥乡的地域。[1][2]

1958年起隶属蓬壶公社；1961年又从中分出，组成苏坑人民公社。1984年本地改为苏坑乡，直到2000年7月才撤乡设镇，定名苏坑镇。[1][2][3]

地理环境[edit]

镇域海拔在580至950米之间，距县城约36公里，省道305线在境内通过约10公里。镇域面积，据百度百科为30.71平方千米[2]，博雅地名网载为29.2平方公里[1]。

人口民族[edit]

截至2019年末，全镇户籍人口为16812人。[2]

经济[edit]

镇政府2024年初的工作总结称，全镇以瓷茶产业为主导。[8]

据县政府概况页，2025年全县佛手茶多种在海拔600米至900米的高山上，苏坑是主要产地之一。[5]

镇内设有苏坑陶瓷工业园区。[7]

荣誉[edit]

福建省卫生乡镇的称号于2020年12月授予苏坑镇，由福建省爱卫办确定。[1]

2021年，苏坑镇入选福建省首批「清新福建·气候福地」名单，同年又作为工贸带动型乡镇，被列入市级整镇推进「五好」示范乡镇。[7]

名胜古迹[edit]

镇内的文物保护单位有寿春宫，位于嵩溪村，为县级文物保护单位，详见嵩溪村的条目。[6]
