下洋镇是福建省泉州市永春县辖下的镇，地处县境西侧，西北与德化、大田两县相接，镇域面积111.5平方千米。镇内山多林密，据2021年镇情材料，森林覆盖率为76.87%，矿产以煤炭为主，另有石灰石、铅锌。县政府的镇情材料称下洋镇为「全省重点矿产乡镇」，景区以牛姆林生态旅游区为主。[3][5]

历史沿革[edit]

古时这一带归宣和乡管辖，其中包括善化里与三都。民国年间，此地分设于荣义与阳斗两个乡名之下。解放后，它先归第一区与一都区管理，再并入曲斗乡的范围。1958年这里并入一都公社，三年后又分出另设公社。1985年由乡改设为镇，定名下洋镇。[1][2]

镇名的来历是镇政府所在处地势低而平坦，据博雅地名网所载。[1]

1992年，下洋镇被福建省评为「明星镇」。[1]

地理环境[edit]

镇域以山地为主，据2021年镇情材料，森林覆盖率为76.87%，是全县第三大林区。[3]

全镇距永春县城约55公里，泉三高速、国道356线、联二线与漳泉铁路支线经过镇境，对外交通较为便利。[3]

天湖山一带的煤系是镇内矿产的主要分布所在。煤质含硫量低，热值与熔融性较高，既可作工业原料，也可作民用燃料。[2][5]

经济[edit]

工业方面，据2021年镇情材料，镇内规模以上企业有13家，涉及电子特种混合气体、电解锌、新型建筑材料、生物医药与纺织等行业。省属国有企业天湖山能源实业有限公司也设在镇内。驻镇的省、市、县属企事业单位共有42个。[2][3]

农业方面，镇内建设有古岭永春芦柑示范场，大荣村有林下仿野生种植基地，种植金线莲、三七与灵芝。镇内另在建设食用菌、畜禽与百香果等产业园或基地。[3]

名胜古迹[edit]

牛姆林生态旅游区位于镇内，是「国家4A级」旅游景区，也是福建省首批自然保护区。牛姆林又称姆林山，名称取自山形如母牛怀藏幼崽的样子。博雅地名网将它列为泉州十八景之一。[4]

天湖岩寺生态森林公园是近年新建成的「国家2A级」森林公园，同样位于镇域之内。[3]
