新岭村位于龙涓乡西南边陲，与漳州市华安县接壤，村部距龙涓镇驻地约22公里。原由几个自然村合为一村，故名新岭。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村域海拔最高1048米，最低420米。全村分为四个自然角落，即上半岭、下半岭、良垵、圣草池，最远的角落离村部约4公里。山地土壤适合种植铁观音。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期此地属龙涓里良垵、新草地一带，民国时属龙涓乡庄山保。1958年成为龙涓公社新岭大队，1965年撤区与小公社建制后仍属此大队，1984年定名龙涓乡新岭村，1990年分为两个村。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2020年12月，新岭村入选泉州市中级版「绿盈乡村」名单。2021年12月，新岭村被确定为「泉州市2019-2021年度市级一村一品专业村（乡镇）」，主导产业为水果。2022年1月，新岭村被认定为「安溪县2020-2021年度文明村镇」。2024年6月，新岭村入选「福建省第四批高级版绿盈乡村」名单。[1][2]
