西溪村位于安溪县长卿镇东北部，村中有一条溪流，村民以苏姓为主。村名因位于祖籍地之西，且村中有溪流而得。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时期此地称西溪保，新中国成立后划入第十一区，曾设西溪乡，1956年6月并入衡西乡。1958年11月起称西溪大队，直到1984年7月才定为西溪村；2020年后，村级组织更名为长卿镇西溪村村民委员会。[1]

西溪村在2020年12月公布的福建省森林村庄名单中有名。[1]
