西坪村位于镇区北侧，与镇同名，是西坪镇辖下的行政村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

旧时此地属积德乡崇信里的西坪景社，归清溪县管辖。[1] 1958年10月编入西坪人民公社，设西坪大队；1984年起称西坪乡西坪村民委员会；1992年8月，西坪镇设西坪村委会。[1]

地理与村落[edit]

村域在安溪县南部，县道342由东向西穿过村境，周边与内山、百福、后格、阳星等村接壤。[1] 全村设18个村民小组，习惯上分为割边、溪东、沙堀、后坪、土楼、潮内、格坵七个自然角落。村民外出谋生者不少，去浙江的人最多。[2]

名胜[edit]

村中的象广祖宇属西坪景社林氏宗祠，据记载建于明初，由林复茶首创。[2] 村北的白水漈瀑布位于尼炉尖与柴梳雾两山之间，瀑高五十余米，附近是省定生态公益林，面积两千多亩。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2022年1月，本村列入「安溪县2020-2021年度文明村镇」。[1]
