东洋村位于金谷镇，因地处原东洋大队的东部而得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

宋元时期，村子是安溪县崇善里十七都东溪乡的尚洋堡，此后归金谷公社东洋大队。1984年以东洋村之名设立，属金谷乡；1991年随乡改镇，设金谷镇东洋村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2020年12月，东洋村被认定为「2020年泉州市中级版绿盈乡村」；2022年1月，被认定为「安溪县2020-2021年度文明村镇」。[1]
