岭东村在安溪县东部，离县城约17千米，海拔96米，村域面积5.8平方千米，下辖7个自然村。[1]

地名与姓氏[edit]

村民建居于山岭东侧的山麓，村名由此而来。[2]

村中主要姓氏有蔡、刘、温、陈、杨、苏、林等。[1]

沿革[edit]

宋元时期此地属修仁乡崇善里；明清时期仍属崇善里。民国时属蓬莱示范乡。[3]

1952年7月划入第三区岭南乡；1958年归蓬莱公社；1961年8月属蓬莱区，设蓬莱公社岭东大队；1984年8月改制为蓬莱镇岭东村。[3]

荣誉与古迹[edit]

2000年2月，村庄被安溪县委、县政府授予「文明村」称号。[1]

村内有慈济堂、关帝庙等景点。[4]
