梅庄村位于东桥镇境内，背倚湄洲湾，村前有四通八达的公路，面积约1.8平方千米。村中古迹有溪龙寺、庄氏家庙与庄淇民居。[1][2]

名胜古迹[edit]

溪龙寺在前庄村东侧，建造年代或可上溯到元末明初，1987年被列为县级文物保护单位（第二批）。寺前的盘龙柱用辉绿岩石透雕，通高2.28米，东柱雕单龙，西柱雕双龙抢珠。[2][4]

庄氏家庙位于前庄自然村，始建于明崇祯年间（1628年至1644年），1998年耗资70万元全面整修，为两进的硬山顶家庙，占地225平方米。[2][4]

庄淇民居位于后许自然村。庄淇是商人，民居始建于清代，房屋面朝西，两进五开间，硬山顶带燕尾脊，面阔16米，进深18.9米。[3]

文化[edit]

2002年，梅庄村获县老龄委办公室、县民政局与县文明委办公室联合评定的「敬老模范村」称号。村老人协会于2004年获泉州市老龄委评为「先进协会」。[2]
