东桥镇是福建省泉州市惠安县的一个沿海镇，位于县域东北部，镇政府驻东桥村。镇名出自此地的一座桥：清末有王姓村民迁居于大港沟上那座桥的东侧，地名遂由“东沟桥”简称为东桥。[1]

2003年，全镇户籍人口为64057人。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

此地原有一条大港沟，沟上架桥。清末王姓村民迁来，在桥东建屋定居，地名由此而来。[1]

清代，村落分属惠安县三十二都吉庄铺一带；民国时期归东岭乡管辖。1996年9月，经福建省民政厅批准，东岭镇原辖的一部分村划出，设立东桥乡。1997年10月，东桥乡改为东桥镇，沿用至今。[1]

地理环境[edit]

镇域位于惠安县东北部，靠近沿海。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

镇内列为县级文物保护单位的古迹有四处：屿头山村的「惠东暴动」指挥部旧址（陈氏宗祠），梅庄村的溪龙寺盘龙柱与梅庄庄氏家庙，以及大吴村的东桥吴氏开闽始祖祠旧址。[3]

「惠东暴动」指挥部旧址即陈氏宗祠，建于屿头山村。1930年9月，“惠安暴动”在山霞后洋举事之后，红二团以这座祠堂为总部，部署进攻县城的行动。宗祠可以追溯到明永乐年间，现存建筑是1998年重修的两进祠堂，建筑面积300平方米。[3][4]

溪龙寺盘龙柱用辉绿岩石透雕而成，通高2.28米，东柱雕单龙，西柱雕双龙抢珠。[3]

梅庄庄氏家庙位于梅庄村前庄自然村，始建于明崇祯时，两进布局，占地225平方米，祠内留有一块明代的木匾额。[3]

东桥吴氏开闽始祖祠旧址位于大吴村，始建于唐天佑年间（905年至907年），1942年以后又经两次重修，最近一次在2004年，建筑依中轴线排列，东侧设戏台与六角形凉亭。[3]
