东岭村是东岭镇镇中心区的行政村，村名取“东方第一岭”之意，因地处惠安东部、山岭较多而得名[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

此地原为惠安东部的一座大埔岭，早年常有匪人出没，一度称作东岭关[1]。民国时期属东岭乡；1958年后纳入人民公社体制，1982年政社分设后称东岭大队；1984年10月改设东岭乡东岭村委会，1989年10月东岭镇设立后改为东岭镇东岭村委会[1]。

名胜古迹[edit]

镇政府所在的集市广场上立有林权民烈士纪念碑，1957年建成，花岗岩结构，碑身刻有林权民作为1930年惠安暴动委员会青年部长的身份。纪念碑为县级文物保护单位[1][2]。

文化[edit]

2024年1月，东岭村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」[1]。
