历史沿革[edit]
村名的来历，据博雅地名网所载：此地原作「南埠」，因与同名而改谐音为南埔。元末，陈氏族人从东岭莲塘迁来，在西南侧的荒埔上建村，取名南埔。[3]
明清时此地属二十九都蔡宅铺；民国时划为涂寨乡的一个保。1949年冬，归二区管辖。1958年起先后属飞跃公社与涂寨公社，1961年另设南埔大队，1985年改为南埔村委会。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
南埔三王爷宫在南埔自然村，俗称「三王府」，清末建造，近年重修。宫坐南朝北，两进三开间，大门开在第一进的明间。第二进大殿进深四间，木雕精美，中间的神龛供奉朱、王、李三王爷。[2]
南埔关帝庙在南埔自然村，建于清代，单进歇山式，面阔三间，进深两间，面积50平方米，内供关夫子。[2]
