五社村是福建省泉州市泉港区涂岭镇下辖的行政村，位于镇西南部，福厦铁路与高速公路贯穿全境，距国道324线约1.5公里。[1][2]
据泉港区政府网2021年所载，村辖模柄、园内、八担、岭下、上黄5个自然村，7个村民小组，人口约3016人，党员85人。[2]
地名由来[edit]
解放前，此地素有「大雾山下十八村」之称。此后因兵灾匪祸，新中国成立初仅存5个自然村，行政村划分时取名五社。[3]
历史沿革[edit]
建国前，村中并无统一村名，各自然村各有其名。建国后最初归惠安县的三乡管辖，此后依次改属涂岭乡、涂岭公社，最后为涂岭镇所辖。[4]
明清时属三都锦溪铺；民国时模柄、岭下属辋川乡试剑保，其余属涂岭乡驿坂保。[4]
1949年冬之后，此地轮流归七区、八区与十区（涂岭）管辖，并入驿坂区驿坂乡。1958年后，由超先公社与涂岭公社管辖，设五社大队；1985年起称涂岭乡五社村委会。[4]
