后田村是后龙镇东北部的行政村，位于福炼一体化厂区的东北侧，是泉港区的一个老区据点村。[2]

地理[edit]

村址在岩山南麓，村前是一片大田野，原为一条大港，后成为溪流，村名与这片田野有关。[1]村内有铁坑、后田、邦企、窑里四个自然村。[2]

沿革[edit]

明清时此地属九都梅峰铺，民国时期属梅东乡。1985年6月，后田从原大队中拆分设为行政村，隶属后龙乡，并设后田村委会。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2022年11月，后田村被确定为2022年泉州市中级版「绿盈乡村」。2024年2月，又被确定为「第二批福建省乡村振兴示范村镇」创建对象。[1]
