南埔镇是福建省泉州市泉港区下辖的镇，位于区境东北部，南面临湄洲湾，镇政府驻柳厝街。全镇辖15个行政村。泉港石化工业园区的仙境、洋屿、南山等片区大部分位于镇境内，石化、港口和仓储是镇内的主要产业，沿海还有海上养殖与捕捞。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

宋代这一带属城山乡，元代属忠恕乡。清代分属东林、仙塘等多个铺管辖，民国时期一度隶属涂岭区。[4][1]

1947年改设天马乡。1956年，这里设南埔区，下设14个乡，范围涵盖南埔与后龙两地。1961年设南埔公社，1984年称南埔乡。[4]

1985年4月，省里批准设立肖厝镇，并拟将南埔等乡并入，但未即施行。[5]百度百科则记1985年4月曾属肖厝镇，直到2000年才改称南埔镇；博雅地名网与维基百科所记为1992年改设肖厝镇南埔街道、1996年改为南埔镇，两说年份不同。[1][6]

1999年，界山镇从南埔镇分出设立。[4][6]

地理环境[edit]

南埔镇东邻肖厝港，北与界山镇相连，南边挨着前黄镇和后龙镇，西边是涂岭镇。[1]

镇域多丘陵。沿海岸线约11千米，深水岸线接近5千米，港口获国家一类口岸的地位。[2]

镇域属亚热带海洋性季风气候。[1]

据《泉港统计年鉴2025》，2024年末总人口62470人，其中城镇人口30180人，乡村人口32290人，共18064户。[3]

百度百科所载为2019年末户籍人口80782人，与上述年鉴的年份和口径不同，此处并列。[1]

经济[edit]

镇内有国电南埔火电厂、福建炼油化工有限公司与福建联合石化等大中型企业，另有福海粮油工业有限公司。粮油加工、码头仓储与海上养殖是传统支柱产业。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

大成古厝位于肖厝村，始建于清光绪七年（1881年）。萧继光为修建码头，在同一时期建起三座大厝，现为福建省第九批省级文物保护单位。[9]

沙格灵慈宫位于沙格村，主祀妈祖，1996年公布为福建省文物保护单位。[7]

重光寺位于南埔村重光山麓。区政府网站称其为区级重点文物保护单位，百度百科则称1985年列为泉州市文物保护单位。[2][8]

天湖岩寺位于天湖村，烟墩山上有明代抗倭烽火台遗址。区政府网站称寺庙始建于明成化年间，百度百科则记为唐代或宋代始建。[2][10]
