锦山村是泉港区山腰街道下辖的行政村，位于街道中心城区。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1956年，山腰改设为镇，锦山作为其下属的一个居委会。1958年9月，超先人民公社成立，锦山为山腰管理区下的一个生产大队；1961年，山腰人民公社成立，锦山隶属其下。[3]

1984年、1996年的几次改制中，锦山均为行政村，分别隶属山腰乡镇与街道办事处。[3]

地理环境[edit]

村由宅内、细房、后沟、北头四个自然村组成，主要经济以经商、务工为主，兼营农耕；浅海滩涂出产海蚵。[2]

文化[edit]

村内的山腰祠堂即庄氏家庙，为文物保护单位。[4][5]

村中北管戏与芗剧等地方戏曲活动较为活跃。[2]
