梅岭村位于马甲镇西南部，离镇区约9公里，西面紧挨南安市洪梅镇一带，乌潭水库在村的西北侧，全村辖八个自然村。[1]

村名据博雅地名网所载，明末此地遍山种植杨梅，明军驻扎于此，士兵以杨梅解渴，遂称梅岭。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

解放初这里称作鹏云乡。1961年分出梅岭大队，1984年成立村委会，驻岭脚一带。[1]

经济[edit]

村中种植花卉的历史较长，是洛江区较早发展花卉种植的村，培育的主要品类有天竹桂、三角梅、茶花，另有海枣和椰子。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年10月和2022年10月，村落先后列入淘宝村名单；2022年12月，获「2022年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]
