建兴村位于洛江北部、罗溪镇南面，与马甲镇相邻，距镇区约2公里。村名因村民建居于建兴山麓而来。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村址在明清时属四十七都，民国时归大罗溪乡岭头保。1958年罗溪公社建立建兴大队，1969年改隶泉州罗溪公社，1984年列为泉州市区罗溪乡的建兴村，1996年改属洛江区罗溪镇。[1][2]

名胜古迹[edit]

郭垅庙于明嘉靖四十年（1561年）始建，清宣统二年（1910年）重修，1979年秋再度重建，1984年改建，1989年又增扩。[2]
