新岭社区是双阳街道下辖的社区，位于洛江区北部[1]。社区名称来历，博雅地名网载有两说：一说取朋山岭与“新风”之意，一说因下辖岭脚自然村而得名[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

1958年公社化时此地称洪厝大队，1960年双阳华侨农场建立后改设管理区。1998年建镇时把岭脚、洪厝、下辽、后坑尾四个自然村合为新岭村，2005年改为新岭社区[1]。
