桥南社区位于洛阳江南畔、洛阳桥南端一带，属福建省泉州市洛江区万安街道。[1][2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

社区因地处洛阳桥南面而得名。[1] 此地旧时归晋江县管辖，在三十八都下设有万安铺桥南村。唐宋年间已有居民定居，最初为陈、何、蔡三姓共居。明初，晋江祥芝籍的刘辰治在桥南设点，专管出境签证事务，其后刘氏定居于此，陈、何、蔡三姓陆续迁出，桥南遂成刘姓聚居之处。[1][3]2001年万安镇改设街道，同时设立桥南社区居民委员会。[4]
