清源社区位于清源山半山腰，由八个居民小组组成，是清源街道下辖的社区。[1][2]社区原为清源村民委员会，2003年改设为清源社区居民委员会。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

宋代，此地归晋江县的棠阴里与爱育里所辖；元明清三代隶属晋江县三十八都的泉山埔；民国时为晋江县东北乡的清源保。1949年，它成为晋江县第三区的清源乡。[3]1958年脱离晋江县，改归泉州市，同年于此设北峰公社的清源农场，并附设共青团农庄与清源茶果社。次年三处合为泉州市亚热带作物试验场，1960年再更名清源农场，1961年改编为泉州市清源农场第六管区。[3]清源村民委员会于1999年8月8日在街道办之下设立；2003年，它转为清源社区居民委员会。[2][3]
