下店社区是福建省泉州市鲤城区常泰街道下辖的社区，位于紫帽山麓，南北两侧面临308国道，晋江南高渠与南低渠横贯其间。[1]

名称由来[edit]

博雅地名网称，社区因境内有下店街市场，可以在此开铺设店，故名。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

清朝时此地为下店乡，民国时沿用此称。1958年公社化时并入曙光大队。1961年，曙光大队下段的村落街一带另设下店大队。1984年起改称下店村委会。2003年村改居，设下店社区；2006年改由常泰办事处管辖。[2][3]

人口与组成[edit]

社区占地2.48平方千米，有565户、1997人，居民小组11个。下辖的自然村为田洋、下店、下部、亭上四个（2012年社区概况）。[1][4]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，社区获福建省爱卫办授予的省级卫生社区称号。[2]
