金山社区位于泉州市区中南部，在海滨街道辖区内，因辖区的金山新村而得名[1]。金山新村是20世纪80年代开始投建的居民小区，博雅地名网称它是泉州最早建设的新村之一[1]。社区面积约0.35平方千米[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

1989年6月，金山新村析为金山、金苑两个居委会[3]。2001年6月，金山、金苑、金宝三个居委会整合为金山社区[1]。

荣誉[edit]

2017年5月，社区被认定为「第四批国家级充分就业社区」；2018年7月，获司法部、民政部表彰为「第七批全国民主法治示范村（社区）」；2022年10月，被命名为「2022年全国示范性老年友好型社区」[1]。2024年12月，社区列入「2024年福建省儿童友好社区」名单[1]。2025年，社区获评「市级党建引领双向融合示范社区」，并获评「未成年人活动场所精品社区」[4]。

社区里，艺术小学与泉州七中各是一所学校，市直机关金山幼儿园和苗苗托儿所也都在此，另有12家省、市、区机关事业单位，博雅地名网称社区兼有文化教育、休闲购物和医疗的功能[2]。
