上坪乡是福建省三明市永安市东北部的乡，东面是青水畲族乡，南面连着西洋镇，北面与贡川镇和三明市三元区接壤，西面与永安市区的几个街道相连。乡政府驻上坪村，距永安市城区约22公里。[1][3]

当地人也称此地为屏山，名称来自境内的屏衡山。截至2019年末，乡境户籍人口为7216人。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

唐、宋、元、明时期，今乡域属沙县管辖。明景泰三年（1452年）设永安县后，本地分属永安县的二十四都、二十六都和二十七都。民国时期分属上桂乡与龙岭乡。[1]

1950年前后，乡境分属二区与三区。1955年先设上坪区，1956年此地转入青水区，1958年秋起称上坪人民公社。公社在1960年并入青水公社，次年又恢复为上坪公社。1984年2月改设为上坪乡。[1][2]

地理环境[edit]

据2020年防汛预案，乡域地势较陡，全乡海拔最高处在上坪村，为1050米，最低处在合群村，为180米；多年平均降水量为2030毫米，东部和北部为雨带。[3]

境内较大的流域有五处，即薯沙溪、后溪、泉际溪、铜盘溪和坑头溪。薯沙溪发源于上坪村天孟，流经上坪村与九龙村后进入三明市莘口镇；后溪发源于共裕村，流经大进村；泉际溪的源头在上坪村与联合村，经九龙村、联合村、合群村后进入贡川镇。[3]

经济[edit]

农业以水稻、家畜和竹木为主，特产有冬笋、茶叶、香菇和红菇。[1]

据2020年防汛预案，林地有211863亩，内含竹林110986亩；耕地为12688亩。[3]

名胜古迹[edit]

陈麟墓位于九龙村庵前自然村，是永安市文物保护单位，2000年列入第二批名单。[4]

文化[edit]

2024年1月，上坪乡被命名为「2023年福建省卫生乡镇」；2023年10月，被确定为「2023年福建省级森林康养小镇」；2021年2月，乡境入选「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单。[1]
