大湖镇属福建省三明市永安市，位于市域西北部，距永安市区约11公里，又称湖山。镇境内的鳞隐石林是镇上最为人所知的名胜，它是「桃源洞-鳞隐石林风景名胜区」的一部分。[1][2][5]

地理环境[edit]

旧时镇域地势低洼，积水成片，远看如湖，因此得名大湖。[1]

鳞隐石林分区位于镇境之内，与桃源洞分区合为一个风景名胜区。该风景区1994年被定为国家级风景名胜区，现又是国家4A级旅游景区。[5]

历史沿革[edit]

宋、元、明时期这一带隶属沙县的二十七都。1452年永安设县，此地归永安县管辖，仍编为二十七都。[1]

民国时期此地称大湖乡。1950年划入第三区，1958年10月并入大湖公社，1984年2月重设大湖乡政府，1992年9月由乡改镇。[1]

经济[edit]

博雅地名网称，镇内形成了矿产、林竹和旅游三大产业格局。农产方面，淡水鱼、莴苣、茶叶、柑桔、烟叶与水蜜桃是主要的出产。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

福建省立师范学校旧址群分布在大湖村和坑源村之中，年代定为1939年至1945年。它包括赖荣厝、大厝、上晶厝、赖氏家庙和若驹公房，建筑面积合计9822平方米。永安市文物名单将其列为2020年第十批文物保护单位，百度百科称之为省级文物保护单位。[3][4]

文物名单中还有1984年首批列入的革命烈士纪念碑和邓文铿题刻，两者都在大湖村境内，题刻位于村东面的皆山。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2005年10月，大湖镇被列入首届全国文明村镇；2009年1月，又被列入第二届的名单。[1]
