历史沿革[edit]
寨中原与新寨同属一村，后分设为村，位于新寨下方，村名由此而来。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
「小陶红军北上抗日先遣队旧址群」在本村的部分包括永盛楼土堡、继述堂民居和万馨堂，该群2020年列入第四批市级文物保护单位。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2017年8月，寨中村列入福建省第二批省级传统村落名录。[1]「2021年福建省卫生村」称号于2021年11月由福建省爱卫办授予寨中村。[1]「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」称号于2022年10月由福建省农业农村厅授予寨中村。[1]
