红安村位于贡川镇西南角，分布在两个自然村之中。[1]

村名的来由是：以前沙溪常发大水，本村地势较高未被淹没，「红」字取其谐音「洪」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村庄始建于明代。明清两代这里隶属永安县二十六都，民国年间则归贡川乡所辖。[1][3]

1984年村民委员会设立。[3]

地理环境[edit]

全村山林占大部分，村民以林业和农业为主。[2]

经济与林业[edit]

2004年4月办起家庭合作林场，2009年又注册了林业专业合作组织；村里积极探索林地和林木经营的新办法。[2]
