大源村是濉溪镇下游的行政村，位于金铙山脚下，村址海拔288米。据博雅地名网所载，它是全县海拔最低的行政村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的由来是：村位于濉溪小支流与金铙山支流的汇合处，取「小源汇大源」之意。[1]

1934年5月，红军在雪山岽一带阻击国民党军进攻建宁县城。雪山岽阻击战遗址分布于本村与圳头村之间。[3]

地理环境[edit]

村属泰宁池潭水库库区的移民村，为革命老区基点村。[2]
